At Fine & Feral, we believe in transparency and trust. These guidelines help us create seamless, magical experiences for every picnic. We've crafted these policies with love and intention, ensuring your special moments unfold exactly as dreamed. Questions? We're always here to help make your vision come to life.

Booking, Deposit & Payment 

Securing Your Date Reserve your magical moment with a 50% non-refundable deposit. We make payments easy with Credit/Debit Card, Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay.

Payment Timeline Full payment is due one week before your picnic. Late payments may result in cancellation without refund, so let's keep your celebration on track!

Additional Fees

  • Service charge: 18% for gatherings over 8 people

  • Failed payment fee: $25

Last-Minute Bookings

Spontaneous Celebrations Welcome Need something beautiful with short notice? We love creating magic on the fly! Last-minute bookings require at least 3 days' notice, full payment upfront, plus a $65 rush fee to ensure we can craft something extraordinary for you.

Cancellation, Rescheduling,
& Late Fees 

When Plans Change Life happens, and we understand! Cancel at least 72 hours before your picnic and we'll refund everything except your deposit. Cancellations within 72 hours mean we keep all payments, as we've already begun preparing your experience.

Arrival & Timing We want you to savor every moment without feeling rushed! Here's how we keep the magic flowing smoothly:

  • 10-minute grace period – we know traffic happens

  • Late arrival fees: $25 for every 15 minutes after your grace period

  • 30+ minutes late becomes a no-show with no refund

Running Behind? Just give us a heads up! We'll always do our best to work with you. Please note that late arrivals won't extend your picnic time, as we may have other magical moments to create.

No-Shows If you don't arrive, full payment is kept with no refunds or credits.

Weather Policy 

When Nature Has Other Plans Mother Nature doesn't always cooperate, but your celebration doesn't have to be canceled! We don't offer weather refunds, but we believe in beautiful solutions:

  • Move indoors to an alternate location, or

  • Reschedule within 3 months (subject to availability)

Rescheduling Made Simple One free reschedule within 3 months of your original date. Need to change again? Additional reschedules are $25 each.

Beyond Our Control Sometimes life throws curveballs – natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions. While we can't control these moments, we'll always work with you to find the best path forward.

Guest Count, Overtime Fees & Special Location Fees

Getting the Numbers Right Please provide an accurate guest count when booking – it helps us create the perfect setup for your group!

Additional Guests Extra friends joining the magic? Additional guests are $35 per person.

Larger Celebrations

  • 8+ guests: Large party fee applies

  • 10+ guests: 18% service fee added

Extended Celebrations Lost in the moment and need more time? Additional 30-minute blocks are $40 each.

Special Location Fees

  • Beach picnics: $40-$50 additional fee for that oceanside magic

  • Pool picnics: $100-$200 refundable damage deposit (with $50-$75 deducted for extra cleaning if needed)

Backyard Picnic Requirements

Creating the Perfect Canvas Your backyard is about to become magical! Help us create something beautiful by ensuring your setup area is dry, clean, and free of pet waste, sharp objects, or debris.

Pre-Picnic Checklist We recommend mowing and clearing your space at least 24 hours before your event – it makes all the difference for a smooth, stunning setup.

If We Arrive to an Unprepared Space We want to create magic safely! If your area isn't ready, we may need to:

  • Delay setup until the space is cleaned (late fees may apply), or

  • Postpone your picnic if the area is unsafe or unsanitary (no refund issued)

Damage & Liability 

Caring for Our Beautiful Pieces We put love into every detail of your setup! You're responsible for any damage to our décor, furniture, and tableware. Damaged items require replacement cost plus a $25 handling fee.

Keeping Things Safe & Beautiful To protect our pieces and your experience:

  • Decorative candles are for ambiance only – please don't light them

  • No open flames, confetti, smoke bombs, or smoking near our setups

  • Treat everything with care – these pieces create magic for many celebrations

Your Responsibility You're fully responsible for your guests' wellbeing and behavior during your picnic. We carry general liability insurance, but you assume responsibility for any injuries, allergies, or damage to personal property.

Alcohol & Conduct

Bring Your Own Celebrations We don't provide alcohol, but you're welcome to bring your own! Just make sure it complies with local laws and your chosen venue's regulations.

Your Responsibility You're fully responsible for:

  • Following all local laws and venue rules

  • Any consequences from alcohol consumption

  • Ensuring safe and legal enjoyment

Pet Policy

Furry Friends Welcome We love when your whole family can celebrate together! Let us know at booking if you're bringing pets – there's a $20 non-refundable fee per furry friend.

Keeping Everyone Happy & Safe

  • Leashed and supervised at all times

  • You're responsible for your pet's behavior and cleanup

  • Check venue rules – make sure your location allows pets

  • Damage responsibility – you cover any repair costs if your pet damages our setup

When Pets Need to Leave If your pet becomes aggressive or disruptive, we may need to ask for their removal to keep everyone safe and comfortable.

Minor & Pool Picnics

Little Ones Welcome We love creating magical moments for families! Children under 14 need supervision at all times – you're responsible for their safety and behavior during your picnic.

Kids' Party Considerations For children's celebrations, we require a $100-$200 refundable damage deposit. If extra cleaning is needed afterward, we'll deduct $50-$75 from your deposit.

Vendor Agreements 

Bringing Your Vision to Life We're happy to connect you with trusted photographers, caterers, and other vendors to make your celebration complete! Each vendor service comes with its own separate agreement.

Vendor Partnerships While we love collaborating with amazing partners, we're not responsible for vendor-related issues – you'll work directly with them for their services.
